FAQs

Is this counselling or therapy?

This service offers life coaching with counselling-informed, holistic support.
It is non-clinical and does not replace therapy, psychology, or medical care.

Many clients use this support alongside other professional services.

Who is this service for?

This service supports individuals navigating:

  • Mental health challenges (non-clinical)
  • Addiction recovery and relapse prevention
  • Neurodivergent lived experiences
  • LGBTQIA+ identity and relationships
  • Life transitions, burnout, and emotional overwhelm

Do you work with men and women?

Yes. I work with people of all genders in an inclusive, respectful, and affirming way.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes. Sessions are confidential within ethical and legal limits.
If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, additional support may be required.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?

No. Many people begin without clarity.
Part of the process is identifying what feels most supportive to focus on.

Are sessions online or in person?

Sessions are currently offered online.

Can this help with trauma?

This work is trauma-aware and supportive, but it is not trauma therapy.
If you require specialised trauma treatment, I encourage working with a qualified mental health professional alongside this support.

What does a typical session look like?

Sessions are conversational and collaborative. We begin by checking in and gently exploring what feels most present for you. You are always in control of the pace and direction of the session.

There is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable, and sessions may include reflection, gentle guidance, grounding, or practical tools depending on your needs.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 30m – 60 minutes.
This will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.

Is this suitable if I’m already seeing a therapist or counsellor?

Yes. Many people choose to engage in this support alongside therapy, counselling, or other professional care.

This service does not replace clinical treatment and is designed to complement other forms of support where appropriate.

What if I’m not sure this is the right fit?

That’s completely okay. You’re welcome to reach out with questions or book an initial session to see whether this support feels aligned for you.

You are never obligated to continue if it doesn’t feel right.
